Following the success of the band’s first release Nueva Musica (Billboard #1, Grammy Nomination for RMX of first single, IDMA Award for Best Latin Dance Song), The Latin Project‘s new album Musica De La Noche comes straight at you with a superb set of brand new songs and stunning remixes, all put together in their unique tradition-meets-electronica approach of fat beats blended with live musicianship. Stylistically evolving to include more mid-tempo material, the album raises the bar yet again for Latin Electronica, featuring showcase performances by vocalists Freddie Crespo, Debi Nova, Lonnie Jordan, Mitchell Long, Joel Virgel, Lauren Evans, and rapper Kool Kojak; the album also features TLP’s remixes of artists Bebel Gilberto, Incognito and Ceci Bastida, as well as guest remixes from genre heavyweights Shawn Lee and Ramin Sakurai (Supreme Beings of Leisure). This digital DJ promo brings you some of the best tracks from the album, along with non-album versions from the likes of Morgan Page and Static Revenger.

Musica De La Noche original’s quite delicious with it’s dancehall bounce and accentuating lyrics. Smoothed out nicely by Ramin Sakura while Morgan’s mix sneaks up on you to nice effect. Nice to be able to show a record love no matter what the setting.

Ritmo will keep a dancefloor up. Legal’s butta…relax and loose control says it all for Onda. Verbenza is a call to get up off of that wall.

    All good.
